In mid-December, Tecno teased its sensor-shift technology in smartphones and now it is announcing a telescopic macro lens that promises to significantly improve not only the quality of macro shots but also the whole experience taking them.
The telephoto macro lens allows you to take close-up shots without having to get too close to the subject, and the macro lens extends to the body.
It offers 5x optical zoom and the result is comparable to the main cameras, the company claims.
Tecno says the design is quite compact and doesn’t need big housing, but failed to provide specifics.
At the moment the company didn’t say when the telescopic lens will feature on the Tecno smartphone but it’s this year.
