Infinix Launches its First-ever 5G Smartphone – Infinix Zero 5G

Infinix mobility finally unveiled its first-ever 5G smartphone Infinix Zero 5G and it comes with a massive display, huge battery, equipped with a 48-megapixel camera unit.

The design of the phone is called Uni-Curve and resembles the Find X3 Pro bump where the elevated camera island sits under the same piece of plastic as the rest of the back panel.

The Infinix Zero 5G features a massive 6.78-inch (2460 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ LCD screen with a punch-hole design. It has a 120Hz refresh rate. Dimensions of 168.73×76.53×8.77mm; Weight: 199g. The phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage which is expandable up to 256GB memory with microSD. It boots to XOS 10 Android 11 out of the box. It has a heat pipe to keep the temperatures in check. For security, the device is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The phone offers a triple rear camera with a quad-LED flash. 48-megapixel main camera with 30X digital zoom capability, 13-megapixel telephoto secondary camera, and a 2-megapixel shooter camera. It supports 4K video recording at 30 frames-per-second (fps), the device is fitted with a 16-megapixel front camera with dual-LED flash.

 It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 6nm processor SoC with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, Octa Core.

Housed by a 5000mAh battery capacity with support for 33W fast charging that can charge up to 100% in an hour. The company claims that it can deliver up to 22 hours of playback time and up to 27 days of standby time. 

The Infinix Zero 5G comes in Cosmic Black, Horizon Blue, and Skylight Orange colors and is priced at about $250. The company said pricing will be revealed later on in each market. It is scheduled to launch on February 14 in India.
